Production Description

A Brand New Show For Young Audiences

Created specifically for primary school pupils aged between 4-7 (Reception – Year 3) highlighting the themes of Collective Responsibility and Kindness.

This new show was devised and created by Director Yvonne Murphy with 3rd year BA Performing Arts Students at University of Wales Trinity St Davids in November 2019 and toured to ten tester primary schools in Wales. It received 100% outstanding feedback.

Show Summary: The Kindness Gem has gone missing!  The town of Yaroom is flooded with tears, panic has taken over and everything is going wrong.

Dive in with Gemma and join her as she journeys to the Magical Kingdom with Detective Lamp who has never left a case unsolved.

Gemma must find the legendary Kindness Gem before it is too late. Captain Stuffworth, marshmallow clouds, a fishfinger army and and Whoo the Wise Owl will all help her but she needs you too!

Technical Specification

This 45 min performance is staged with 60 capacity audience on one side and only requires;

  • Minimum 5-meter square clear space
  • Access to power supply
  • Additional space for your audience
  • Any means of darkening the room (optional but greatly appreciated)
  • 1 hour preshow set up and 45min post show clearance time
  • suitable for school hall

 

Tour Information

This new show was scheduled to tour schools and venues in December 2020. All planning is currently suspended due to the Covid19 Pandemic. We hope to reschedule for Nov/Dec 2021.
