Our Philosophy - We believe every young person should have access to the Arts and the opportunities, rewards and enrichment it brings. Drama is an invaluable tool in allowing young people to explore their creativity, emotions, communication skills, approach to teamwork, the world around them and their place within it. We know that it builds confidence, social skills, self-esteem and an awareness and appreciation of the Arts. Drama is an alternative and empowering access tool to all areas of the curriculum.

Ongoing Creative Projects

Things Beginning with M. An experimental exploration and collaboration between new writing, movement, visual art and comedy. Things Beginning with M is a new piece of work from an original idea by Yvonne Murphy which looks at how women speak to each other and tell each other the stories which help us to map out our way through womanhood. First staged in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff and the Windsor Pub, Penarth in June 2010 to sell out audiences. These pilot performances (funded by the Arts Coucil of Wales) received an overwhelmingly positive response. The piece is now being developed and funding found with the aim of performances in Wales, Edinburgh and London in 2011.
