OMIDAZE SUMMER SCHOOLS 2018 - Now Booking

We are running the 

SHAKESPEARE SUMMER SCHOOL for 7 - 11 year olds in partnership with The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff    30 July - 3 August 

THE YOUNG ACTORS SUMMER SCHOOL for 11 - 16 year olds in partnership with University of South Glamorgan (Atrium)     Cardiff 6 - 10 August

The Shakespeare Summer School for 7 - 11 year olds is in its 11th year and is an interactive, fun and physical introductions to the world of Shakespeare. We feel passionately about providing access to and ownership of Shakespeare through an exciting and totally interactive approach. We do not rehearse a production so no former knowledge or experience of Drama or Shakespeare is required.

The Young Actors Summer School for 11 - 16 year olds is a chance for budding actors to work with a professional theatre director on contemporary & classic texts, monologues, stage craft, audition technique & physical theatre.


Both courses are written and led by Professional Theatre Director & Producer Yvonne Murphy who has nearly three decades of experience in Professional & Educational Theatre including working regularly for the National Theatre, English Shakespeare Co, Sherman Theatre & Shakespeare Schools Festival specialising in providing access to Shakespeare. Yvonne is an associate artist of Wales Millennium Centre, Theatr Iolo and Omidaze's Artistic Director.

The Shakespeare Summer School & The Young Actors Summer School are one week courses 
Monday to Friday  9.30am - 3.30pm
Free Scholarship places available.
