SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

We are continuing to take bookings for our school workshops for our school workshops for primary and secondary students inspired by our production of Romeo and Juliet.

Omidaze will come to your school and deliver a workshop on power, politics and/or Shakespeare. The Shakespeare workshops will explore the story of Romeo and Juliet and give students an active introduction to Shakespeare. Our political workshops take students on an empowering interactive whistle stop tour of our UK and Welsh parliamentary and electoral system.

Choose Shakespeare or Politics. Or both!

"In a twenty-first century, schooling will increasingly become the basis of a creative society, of a creative economy and a creative culture. Creativity, or being open to the acquisition of new knowledge and innovative skills, will shape our world like no other force imaginable." Professor Dai Smith's report on the review of Arts Education in the Schools of Wales (2013)

Drama is an invaluable tool in allowing young people to explore their creativity; emotions; communication skills; approach to teamwork; the world around them and their place within it.
